• fortune inn is one of the best Chinese take ways in hailsham by far the food was very good and the service was brilliant i would definitely recommend it to a friend and i would definitely order from there again i was one happy customer

• Having moved to Hailsham with my partner and tried this take away on three different occasions am disappointed that you have to award at least one star to make a comment can only assume that the five star individual is someone who works there because the food is dreadful the old woman can't take an order correctly and they are very rude advice hungry? stay hungry!

• Tried it a couple of years ago. Wasn't very nice at all. Got menu through recently and thought perhaps it had improved. Decided to give it another go. Man who answered phone asked me to hold on. He then kept me waiting whilst he explained various locations to his delivery driver. I ended the call. Phoned back a few minutes later, and was put on hold again.. no reason, just a long silence. When he came back to me, I informed him that I wasn't going to order, gave him (above) reasons. He clearly didn't care and couldn't wait to put the phone down on me. I'm guessing the food is as poor as before, judging by the lack of professionalism shown by the guy answering the phone.
