• Went to the farmhouse for the first time last night for my 50th birthday and had a brill time .the place looks lovely ,service is excellent they can too enough for you ,I told them on the phone it was a birthday party and they had decorated our table and put up banners.the food is excellent and I would recommend it,we will visit there again ,this place is fab and thank you to them for a lovely birthday dinner .

• The Farmhouse restaurant has been open now for about 18 months and it was my second visit. Food is very good and there is a great choice of Indian and English food. It also does a very popular take-away service. The owner/manager was extremely helpful when we booked for a special birthday treat. Six of us, all with different dietry requirements including vegan, were well provided for and had a very enjoyable meal. Unfortunately the restaurant gives the impression of not being ready for visitors. The decor is mainly white and brown, very plain without any kind of decoration and little "atmosphere". The service although very friendly and helpful was not good with one young waiter saying he was "going to get some mugs - I mean, glasses" for our drinks. We will go again though as the food is worth it and the prices are very reasonable. With some attention to the decor and staff training, this could become a good restaurant.
