• The most disgusting food and horrendous service ever! I ordered lemon chicken, which everywhere else serves as a pale yellow, thick sauce that has a really tangy and slightly sour taste to it. This one turned up and was bright orange, runny and tasted quite literally like sugar syrup, I felt really ripped off. Of course now and again there are times when we all order from somewhere new and it's not quite to our taste, so we just don't order from there again. But in this case I genuinely felt that I had not been given what I'd asked for. Not to mention the rice that looks like a boil in a bag supermarket rice job with a few random chunks of egg in it - not the lovely, fluffy light rice Chinese restaurant's are supposed to be famous for. I wish I could put pictures on here to show you what you get when you order from here! I tried calling to explain and to query whether they had even sent me the right sauce. The lady on the phone was really rude and wouldn't let me speak to the manager. She just said 'well if you don't like it then don't come here', I asked her whether the manager knew this was what she was saying to her customers, and she said 'no, he's out anyway'. When I asked for a refund, she told me she wasn't authorised to make that decision - needless to say I will be writing to the manager to ask whether he would say she is authorised however to not allow their customer's to discuss an issue with him directly, or is aware they've got someone answering the phone who actually tells his customers to not bring them any custom! Don't ever go here! Their food is nothing like normal Chinese food, it's a cheap rip off of it, and they do not value their customers - they couldn't care less it seems!
