Looking forward to a nice Sunday lunch (8th September) with my family, 4 adults and 3 children. Staff friendly, service a bit slow but then we thought freshly cooked so maybe worth the wait. Kids meals looked ok and they were eaten so presume they were but the 3 roasts we ordered were abysmal. The meat (2 beef and 1 chicken) was delicious but the roast potatoes were hard and tasteless and were probably frozen as were the veg. The yorkies were burnt and everything was covered in gravy. A jug of gravy would have been a better option. I might add that this was about 1.30 and the pub did not seem that busy. A lot of people just drinking and not eating. Not surprised there. A lot better meal at a carvery so will not be back.Rating history and distribution
