• After visiting never again vegetables raw first visit put me off also looks like it had been on show a long time nearly cold

• Used to be great food but gone right down hill, it was closed down and then reopened....new decor I great but unfortunately can't say the same for the food, I'm not one to complain and after a not so good experience we went back about 4 times hoping it was just a one off. In February the food was awfull I left neary a full plate and paid the bill and left but last night was so bad we couldn't even eat! We were at the counter with meat on our plates but there was nothing else we could put on our plates the mash was hardly mashed full of large lumps and even some whole boiled potatoes! The beef was full off fat, the carrots were not peeled looked rotten and rock hard, the stuffing looked mixed but uncooked and the roast potatoes were black and bone dry, we were the 4 to put our plates on top and walk away.... To be honest I felt sorry for the server she looked so stressed on her own and not a smile but I'm not surprised having to serve that alone with everyone moaning, so we didn't eat and will never return again which is a shame as this was once our favourate pub.
