• This pub we' would like to say along with our friends is the most welcoming and friendly pub in Essex, the food is superb with a good menu for all types of taste buds the owners are very welcoming and always go out of there way to accomadate you at short notice there is a garden with horses at the bottom enclosed here you can view them freely also a great playground for children in then summer there are many evens from fun ads to bands playing in the Arden with barbeque area this is a must and would encourage you to go newly built next door is a small hotel that has been built with great rooms by the pub owner next to that is a superb golf course so weekends would be great if you feel like a break away ,as there is so much to see and do in the area, we are regulars for the last couples of years now and this pub has lived up to its expectations a little gem in the country Thanks Lyn John
