• Bad Day at Braxted. Usually have a good meal and good service, but not on a recent visit! Got to pub as the staff were putting out the "open for lunch" signs outside, so we assumed just that. Eventually after 10 minutes, got ordered drinks, and asked for menu, but was told that the chef had not yet printed it - we got it half an hour later! Slightly deterred we still ordered, but the meal took another half an hour to arrive, and was just about acceptable, but no more. I don't know what was going on that day, but the whole business was shoddy and completely unprofessional, and was a great shame, since it used to be so good. The staff on the day were all teenage girls, and obviously lacked supervision.

• brilliant in every way the service was so friendly and the food was great and also great value for money .I will be going back and would recommend others to try yo will not be dissapointed
