  • 1 star reviewI thought going to the seaside i would get lovely fresh fish!!! WRONG!!! On the menu i saw crab & prawn fishcake, a favourite of mine - i asked the waiter was it white crab meat or dark he replied 'white' yum i thought WRONG!! up came this 2" round ball of stodge no flavour and certainly no white crab meat - robbed at £6.45 - you can get a better fishcake from Lidl . I then had a special dish of the day - scallops these turned up approx. 1/2" round and sliced thinly on a smudge of mushy peas [supposed to be pea puree] and butternut squash - a great disappointment as i adore scallops and have never seen any so small served up as a main dish. when the waitress asked was everything ok i said how disappointed i was with the scallops - the waiter came over and said he thought it was very good value for money i disagreed and pointed out that they had been sliced in half; i also mentioned that there wasn't any crab meat in the fishcakes they were stodge he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Great customer satisfaction!!! NOT!!! Fish is my favourite food and i have eaten in a lot of restaurants - never again will i enter this establishment to be so disappointed. BEWARE OF ORDERING FISH.
