• we stumbled accross this pub a few years ago while on a fishing trip to grafham water, we found the place very welcoming and warm and decide to stay in one of their rooms at the pub. we found this comfortable and enviting and they made us feel very welcome and accomodated our needs as my partner is wheelchair bound. we have since stayed at this place every year on our trips to cambridgeshire and east anglia even using it when i was entertaining clients locally for a plesant pub lunch. We were very pleased to find on our trip this year that their bed and breakfast rooms and the whole pub have undergone a refurbishment which has retained the characture of this pub but also modernised the amminities within the rooms leaving you feeling clean warm and comfortable. the food i would describe as quaint tradishional english 'pub grub' which is cooked and prepared by the landlady francis. Her son steve patrons the bar area and his witty banter and general helpfull and plesent attitude is a lovely addition to this tradishional country pub.

• We had a very pleasant weekend with a good choice of food and a nice friendly atmosphere in the Bar, we shall be going again later in the year.
