• Not just your typical High Street curry house. The small, simple interior belies the range of food on offer. Very popular, especially on Sundays with the eat as much as you can buffet (it's different every week) the lamb saagwala is excellent. The a la carte menu has a good selection of Indian food including a number of fish curries, sadly lacking in even the high end Indian restaurants. The king prawn curries are superb. Vegetarians are not neglected either in terms of quality and flavour. All the food is pretty close to authentic Indian cooking as you're likely to experience. Prices are reasonable and the standard is high and consistent. The staff are hard working and extremely polite, as a regulars we are always welcomed and leave with an appreciative smile. There's a good bar with draught Cobra on tap. Takeaway is good, but do take the time if you can to sit down and enjoy the food straight from the tandoor sizzling in its dish. It's well worth it.
