• Awful sustomer service, the deli counter is unmanned, the staff see you queuing there and ignore you. This as happened on two occassions and after another dismal shopping experience I will drive to Porthmaddog and spend my money in Tescos

• I too fell foul of Coop's iniquitous policy of fining loyal customers who overstay in their empty car park. The parking eye camera appears to be a moneymaking scam. Unfortunately there aren't many alternative places to shops.

• Although the coop is a nice shop in genereal and I have used it on many occassion....(every fri sat sun) once a forthnight.....I had the unfortunate occurance of overstaying my parking by 19 min.....(I have a mentally imature and volatile daughter) who ran off....I incurred a breach of contract notice through the post 4 days later....demanding £45.00 if I pay up immediately or £90.00 if I delay....I contacted the coop via the person who accompaneyed me there.(not my daughter).....a gentleman who shops there and has done for the past 10 yrs...however no leniencey was shown to us........Having a disabled badge and used it too, still did not help us.....I must warn any one who is a carer for anyone who "bolts" off to bear this in mind while shopping there....as it may turn into a very expensive shoping experience......The car park is I grant abused in the summer by tourists ect...BUT ...why does this camera still get used in January and February...when claearly there is less volume of users and locals are foremost.....The car park was infact less than one quarter full when I was there, and incurred the charge.....I consider therefore that I was not causing the Co op to loose revenue....and they did NOT loose customers either.I SHALL be using other shops instead from now on.
