• They offer very little guidance. Any question you have is answered by "we have 25 years of experience and we know what we are doing". And they tell you nothing if you don't ask! My advice is get the plastering done SQUARE, because they don't tell you, but the hearth is cut square and will not fit if you don't. Hence I have been left with a hearth that does not fit, plaster damaged and scratched hearth. Bit of a mess all round. Feel sorry for the installation lads who must take the brunt of frustration.
