• Having been a very regular loyal customer for over 10 years, and even travelling a 15 mile round trip when I moved out the area 4 years ago, I am very disappointed and annoyed to have now been told never to return to my favourite kebab shop by the grumpy man that serves in there (he’s not even the owner!!).... simply because I paid for a mixed kebab (£9.50) but was given a chicken kebab at half the price instead. When I queried this in person the following day politely, I was immediately given the £5 difference with no argument (I didn’t even ask for this)..he then got very agitated and annoyed at me for NO reason, totally totally out of order considering he had been at fault and I was the loyal customer, and told me never to come back again!! I have even (when allowed in the lockdown) continued to support this business because of the good quality of the food and my loyalty, even though the customer service has been grumpy /unfriendly for years, when I actually have a good kebab place within 1 mile of my own home. I’m now taking my business to Best Kebabs, Hitchin who are very customer-friendly and yes do the best kebabs in the area for sure!!
