• This used to be the best chinese in essex, unfortunatly since they re-opened they seemto have forgoten what customer service is. We would often go in with family and friends to show off both the food and service, or when we could not get out to eat would pick up food, However when my wife picked up a takeaway tonight the food was below their usual standard, I called Eva the manager to see if they had changed chef etc, she informed me it was the same chef and asked what the problems were, i advised her that the honey roast pork was missing its usual light syropy sauce, she Argued that it just comes with a bit of honey on the outside, I also advised that the mongollian lamb was missing the bed of crispy noodles that it normally comes on (my kids love these) she then told me that the dish does not come on noodles, when i advised i have had it many times before she told me that i was wrong and must be thinking of her other take away as they don't bother to make the take away food as presented as eat in! I called to let her know that there was a problem with our food, more to let them know so they could locate the issue and look at it I was always told that if somethings not rite, you should let the person know so theybcan change, rather than just telling others thatbit was bad).Not once did she appologise, more to the point she was rude and argumentative! I can see why they are struggling to re build the client base they once enjoyed. Once again I want to add that this was once an amazing place to eat or get take out from. I will not be going back and hope that they read this and decide to take a look at the way they are treating people.
