• Been here quite regular over the last few years, but since the refurb...they cantcope. Sat down at our table at 5:30pm, ordered food at 5:40pm and didnt recieve it until 6:30pm after complaining were it was. When i did eventually get my meal,the steak was not cooked to how i specified, why ask in the first place. The young girl did however offer us 50% off but still....disappointed. P.S. THE COMMENT BELOW....just because you were satisfied does not mean everyone else will be, you must have lower standards!!!

• The pub has just been refurbished and they cannot cope with the influx of diners. My advice, wait a while, it will be good again when they have had time to adjust. If not be prepared to wait.

• Fantastic service and very nice food. dont listen to the previous two comments. i eat here a lot and have never had a problem!!

• Now you only take bookings its impossible to get a table, when last in lots of tables sat empty for a long space of time, have just rung to be told you are fully booked again! i was a local regular now will have to find a new place to eat at! so disappointing.

• I would never return to this pub again. The food arrived in two separate stages, two people had already eaten before the other two had even received their meals. Two of the meals had to be sent back twice. The staff were rude and not apologetic about the mistakes that they had made. Someone needs to take this place over and make it the proper British pub it once was. Avoid like the plague.
