"Family run friendly Village Free House, under new ownership, real cask ales, choice of wines, good qualtiy home made traditional pub food served every day 12 noon till 8pm. We have a sports room with pool table, darts and SKY TV, Beer garden to the rear of the property and ample car parking."

• A nice welcoming friendly family run pub offering a comprehensive menu, catering for all tastes. Over the last 12 months we have become regulars and have also introduced our friends who share our same enthusiasm. Good pub grub at competitive prices!

• Better refurbed than it was, pub needs a personality behind the bar, the owners should employ the lad who ran it before them, good conversstionist and knew how to keep the ale. Brought us fantastic homemade pork pies. Unfortunately the name aludes me.

• A warm and friendly welcome from Andrea & Nigel.Great cheese n onion pie. Ales to be sampled on next visit as driving. It won't be long tho!!!
