• I have always found the food fresh, homecooked and exemplary! The restaurant was done up around a year ago and looks great.

• I have eaten for the last twelve years about once a month at this cafe and although the decor is a little jaded the food is excellent nearly always choosing a meal of the special board - I have never been disappointed - my Aunt loves their fresh fish and chips - we also find the service friendly and efficient.

• A bit grubby could do with a lick of paint. I had a jacket potato which would have benefited a quick blast in the oven to crisp it instead of just the microwave. Also was a bit underdone in places. My mother had a sandwich that was very nice and the chips were lovely. The service was very good and very good coffee.
