• We have been eating in and taking out meals from this restaurant for many years. It is an excellent, if not the best restaurant for atmosphere, service, and food around Essex. The prices are remarkable considering the quality and unusual choices that you can't find in other Chines restaurants. Excellent!

• we visited the boote house. with a party of eight. to celabrate my 70th birthday. when the staff knew it was my b/day they celebtated with congratulations little cake and a bottle of wine. i call this exceptional service. the food was out of this world the spare ribs were the best we had had. the staff ere a lovely friendly people. you only get respect if you give. some thing worth remembering. we would reccomend give it i try you will be impressed as we were.

• Its a very imposing building which is a little inappropriate for a chinese restaurant. It gives the impression that the food will be expensive but its very reasonably priced and very good. The staff are Chinese so they aren't very chatty but its only because they have limited English.
