• What a fantastic pub! Best jacket spud I've ever had. Three of us had a meal and it was first class and the beer superb. Have put it on my top 100 pubs in the country!

• Potentially a nice pub but owned by one of those idiots who don't deserve or shouldn't be in business! If you dare complain about anything, which is easily done with the over priced poor food, the owner will just tell you "don't come back" I say do yourself a favour and don't bother going!

• I frequently visit this pub. Its quite the best pub I have ever been in for its friendly staff great priced drinks as well as lovely interior. Very welcoming of family and the sunday lunch is to die for and only £9 for 2 cources. THE BEST

• I visted the boars head and my opinion was that the staff are really rudeand they need a smile on there face...I ordered food i asked for a curry and i got it after a hour of wait to find a piece of hair in it and a stone for some odd reason and the curry was cold and then my coke was flat. I will NOT attend this place again.

• the boars head is and excelent well kept pub plenty of cider and ales and guest largers to enjoy nice old comfy cottage feel to the place and the sunday lunch are exelent be warned booking is adviced as we been turned away few time
