• Sunday lunch poor. Cold. Hardly any veg considering how cheap it is. No new potatoes although advertised and we were the first meals to be served. Stuffing came after reminding them and was stone cold. Staff disinterested. Will not go again although we like to support local.

• Very disappointing meal. Poor selection, food smothered with gravy when had been requested to serve none, forgot to give boiled potatoes and roast tasted warmed up. Short staffed and waitresses charming but, never again.

• Not impressed food took long time to come Was not particularly very warm and quite frankly not very tasty Disappointed! Would have complained if I'd been paying for the meal

• Do not listen to the bad reviews I go here quite a lot and it is a good half hour drive from where i live but always worth it. You may have to wait a bit for the food but its definitely worth the wait as it is always freshly hand made! Friendly service too even though they are very busy so a good idea to book ahead esp on a weekend as i have had to wait a while before just cos they were completely booked!
