• Found the pub by chance, my friend and I visited on a Wednesday lunchtime, ordered food and while having our drink I'm sure our cottage pie was cooked to order, complete with real peas, carrots and broccoli which all looked and tasted as if they were fresh from the garden. Large tasty portion and a nice glass of wine, friendly locals, lovely position overlooking the green. We'll be back.

• First visit, within minutes, chatting with the locals. My choice of a village pub. Good selection of real ales, 3/4 on. Sky sports. Recently renovated, with on going improvements. Supporting local events. Beer festival in the near future (late summmer). Hope to re-visit soon.
