• Food is to die for, and a welcome change from the high street chains aka Prezzo, but one of the staff was extremely rude and kept dissapearing to check her phone. Overall a nice eatarie , but Birdies' get some attentive staff.

• Although we could have booked Friday afternoon,we didn't; arrivimg at Birdies we were told we would have 1hr to wait for a table. We declined. Walked around looking for elsewhere to eat but everywhere was fully booked. Decided to go back to Birdies to wait the hour. There were two small tables empty on the pavement so we suggested we could take up one. The staff agreed and we ate an enjoyable meal. It turned cooler around our pudding course so we suggested eating that indoors. Again, the staff agreed. The lemon tart was good enough to die for, as was the fortified coffee. An excellent evening with helpful and cheerful staff.

• Have eaten at Birdies on several occasions - found the staff helpful and courteous, the menu varied and the food itself excellent on every occassion.

• terriable rude approach from staff, tea was offered on menue, but as i did not wish to order food i was told in a rude manner to go else where. I feel this was because we was motor cyclist but have notice since on other sites me and my friend who were in decent smart motor bike atire are not the only people to have been approach rudly and place has history with ill manners. cyclist i dont feel are welcome from the approach we ill recieved
