• Food appalling but beer decent. Having seen dogs in their beer garden have just taken my beautiful well behaved staff and been turned away, I suppose we won't be going back.

• dirty hole needs a good clean and refurbished. the toilets are disgusting so whats the kitchen like.

• I have visited the Bell and Bear on many occasions, I enjoy it here to have a quiet drink, but when I came here to have food recently, we found flies in the vinegar bottles, which put me straight off! I then looked at other bottles to find them also in the same condition! Bar staff I find are genrally polite and friendly. This pub could most definatley do with a make over, to make it not only more modern but keep the character it has.

• On visiting this public house i found the food to be of very poor standard with microwaved veg, small portions and certainly not worth the money they were asking. On two occasions i found the envil ale to be undrinkable and i had to return it to the bar where i found the bar staff to be very unfriendly and i certainly wouldn't visit this public house again as it simply not worth the money!

• Very unfriendly bar staff, poor food, poor quality beer! Would i visit again? No! Defiantly not i found the place poor value for money and unfriendly!
