• Visited The Beehive last Sunday for lunch. Wide choice of options and good value. Friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone passing through in need of refreshment.

• We too had a truly dreadful meal at this establishemnt identical to the comments above so this must be typical of their offering Do not go there!!

• Had a meal there last sunday it was terrible. The sort of thing that you used to get served up at school years ago by ageing diner ladies, not by up to date pro-chefs. The meat was not real meat, you got a spoonfull of over cooked cabbage, 2 tiny roast spuds, a splodge of watery over cooked twangy tasting mashed spuds, it was awefull. Good job my father in law was treating us all, as I would NOT have payed for it! The wc's were disgusting, and they had displayed a local authority certificate from the env' health dpet saying that the pub complied with thier requirements. BUT, it was dated October 2009 and also 6 months out of date. I gave the pub 1 star so as the system would accept my review, howver i would not even give them in reality half a star it was that bad.
