  • 1 star reviewNever ever go here! Staff and service appalling. One lot of our meals took 2.5hours to arrive. And cold when it did. Most others in the party took about 1.5hours, even garlic bread starter. Worst service ever. Staff don't speak. Not interested. Disgraceful. Only posting 1 star cos it isn't letting me submit without one!

  • 1 star reviewAwful. Everything from the food to the cleanliness - of the tables, bar and the personal hygiene of the bar man. At the start of Sunday lunch time and it looked and smelt like it was the end of a really busy and hot shift. I can only feel for the customers arriving later in the day.

  • 2 star reviewThe food is awful. I could not eat my meal because the meat did not taste right and the chips were overdone. The service was slow and when i complained about the meals my family had ordered and asked for the money back for mine i was told no and i had to contact headoffice. Neither the chef or manager would see me. I wonder why? Maybe because they know the food is terrible. I hope i dont get a bad stomach. Il never go there again.

  • 1 star reviewFood took 65 minutes to come. One of the child's meal had a long hair in, that put me off mine and I refused to pay for mine. Got another meal for the child, that only took 5mins but looked like the same steak. Child refused to eat ended up going to McDonald's for hers. Bar area vert slow. High chairs no good child kept banging head on back. No tray for baby to eat off. Had to ask for a cushion for high chair. Food was not that great other family members left quite a lot. Would not go there again .

  • 2 star reviewVisited recently for the first time in several years. On the plus side there was a huge menu with lots of choice and the pub looked like it had been done up since my last visit (as it was VERY scruffy before). On the downside - Service, if you can call it that, was terrible. Slow, slow, slow! Went to the bar to order. About 10 people waiting to be served and one girl behind the bar. The second girl was stood chatting to her mate. Order the food and waited AGES to say the least. The place wasn't that busy either, so goodness knows what it would be like on a busy night. When the food did arrive it was good. Can't complain about that. Ordered 2 coffees and after 20 minutes gave up on that and left. Another thing that was off-putting. At one point the 'chef' appeared and he was FILTHY dirty !!

  • 1 star reviewFood was good but service was terrible.waited 45 minutes for an ice cream dessert despite 2 enquirys as to where the order was.staff seemed uninterested when i requested a refund for the non-exitant dessert. Also commentary from live football match was blasted over the speakers in the dining area so you couldnt hear yourself think.

  • 1 star reviewWhat an awful experience... I've eaten in cafe's that serve better quality food!! The carvery was bad... Yorkshire's still frozen, no potatoes, gravy cold!! It was lunchtime on a Friday - what was going on? BBQ chicken sandwich was like something from Greggs! Definitely not on for a re-visit! Sad considering there was 9 of us eating
