• I booked Abcus cars for pick-up from Heathrow on an international flight, and was told that the car would pick me up 45-60 min. after the plane landed. After a 8 hour flight and frustrating 1 hour wait for bags with the rest of the plane, I got out of customs 70 minutes after the plane landed. I am 5 months pregnant, was dehydrated, and stopped to buy a water. The driver was very agressive and hostile, furious that I stopped for water, demanded that I pay his 12 pound parking fee before going anywhere, couldn't find his car in the parking lot, didn't help with my bags although I was dropping from exhaustion, and threatened repeatedly to leave me at the terminal. When I insisted on speaking to the company, they confirmed that the fee I had already paid by credit card included the parking up to 60 minutes after the flight arrival time. I agreed to pay the 3 pound charge for the extra 10 minutes, and the driver still threatened to leave me at the airport after we got off the phone with his supervisor! Then drove around in circles in a dangerous-looking neighborhood, and refused to give me a receipt. Unbelievable. Avoid this company at all costs!
