• Abbey removals helped me move out of my apartment and into my town house today, initially I was supposed to have 4 men, 3 came and while they were friendly enough, I didn't find them to be professional. They removed my items from my apartment efficiently, but when it came to putting them into my town house, they had some issues getting some of the items up the stairs, including the sofa, to which they said I would have to get a man in to take the window out and get the sofa through the first floor window!! So they left it downstairs! Strangely enough my 70 year old dad and uncle got it up the stairs themselves, along with the 2 wardrobes! I had paid for a service in which they said they would dissemble and reassemble any of my large items, in the rooms needed them to be in, instead, they said they couldn't and moaned about a few extra cardboard boxes I asked them move!! They seemed to be in a rush to get away, maybe they had another job, even though at the time of booking them I was told they would be free until 3pm, when they had their next job!! I would not recommend them for the price I paid, they were no means the cheapest I was quoted, so was expecting a better and more thorough service
