• AVOID. We have used A1 before and they used to be great and reliable - but on Saturday they left us completely abandoned and we faced a 2 hour wait with no communication and a frantic run to try and find the cab. The standards have gone WAAY down. We had to phone them around 7 times to work out where the taxi was - he kept saying '40 mins' and when we'd phone back after 40 mins they'd tell us 40 mins again. If they'd called us to let us know he was going to be late, or done anything at all to make it right - but when I got someone on the phone they made us wait 6 days to tell us they weren't even prepared to give us a refund for such terrible service. Please be warned. Not reliable.
