• We have been using 247 for over 20 years (since they were Lidget green taxis) as a family. Today my grandmother who is 77 years old and uses these taxi's everyday dropped £100 in the back of the car (a dark blue VW) she realised almost straight away but the cab drove off. Upon contacting the office within a few minutes we were told that they would check with the cab and phone us back which they never did. So we called them again and were simply told nothing has been found. We know 100% that this money was dropped in the back of the taxi and we know the cab driver has kept it but what can we do? How can we prove it? We can't. However, there are 7 of our family who have used 247 for years and we have all agreed to switch to another firm. If this is the trust and respect you get for years of service then we'll go elsewhere.
