  • 5 star reviewI have been using Riley Marshall to let and manage my property for the past 3 years. They have always managed to find me brilliant tenants and have far exceeded my expectations in the high rents they have continued to get and the exceptional service the lettings and management team have delivered over the past 3 tenancies. There have been some very serious maintenance repairs and emergency situation within the property over this period. These have been dealt with with the utmost care, professionalism and all round top class service by Sandy. I have been blown away at just how well these issues have been handled and have been kept informed every step of the way, from the moment the problems were identified all the way through until the repairs had been carried and the quality of the work was inspected by Riley Marshall on completion. As an experienced landlord I have worked with my share of agents over the years and I can confidently say that Riley Marshall is by far the best I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I would highly recommend any landlords that are looking for an agent who consistently delivers on their promises by getting brilliant tenants, high rents and the best service I have experienced from an agent to use these guys. They know what they are doing!

It is unfortunate that you have felt that you have had no other recourse to reach us than to revert to posting your complaints online. It is furthermore regrettable that you did not exhaust the remedies under Riley Marshall’s complaints procedure and appropriately address your concerns to the relevant individual within the company. Should you have not felt that your matter was adequately remedied you have further recourse by way of a complaints procedure to the Property Ombudsman who will consider the correspondences sent and received between the parties and the steps taken by this company in trying to remedy the issues which you have raised. As a professional organization we do not wish to enter a debate on public platforms such as this and strongly urge that if you are unsatisfied with any elements of the service that you have received thus far, to please follow the correct complaints procedures with our company and the accredited trade bodies that we are members of.   • 1 star reviewLANDLORDS AND TENANTS BEWARE! This company got our contracts wrong at the start of the tenancy, which made a lot of hassle for both landlord and us, involving discussions with lawyers and even talk of early termination of contracts, none of which was ours (or, technically) the landlord's fault. Beyond appalling customer service - they arranged visits to the property and never showed up (several times) despite us taking time off work. Even the Company Director, Bruce, admitted they had deliberately withheld information regarding one day when we sat at home all day waiting for a repairman who never came. We were without proper heating for 6 weeks and then no hot water at the same time for a week. Threw lawyers at us when we asked for a rent deduction. The director sounded like he was suppressing a laugh when he told me it wasn't his top priority! LANDLORDS BEWARE - The biggest irony is the landlord lost out as well, as had the original issue been swiftly resolved when first reported it may not have caused the more expensive full boiler repair they had to then perform... As mentioned, they got the contracts wrong and reportedly ended up falling out with the landlord over this as well! Took 9 days and 7 days on two occasions respectively to respond to important emails. Rude staff and generally just depressing, stressful and unnecessarily complicated to deal with. Can't help but get the feeling they're trying to force us out to make up for their own poor mistakes with the landlord - which is strange as we are a professional couple, who have never missed rent and offered to actually spend our own money painting and decorating the house - surely good tenants, or did I miss something?! You have been warned!
